Three images of an urban environment will appear – fading into one another.
The next image will be of Lucy Martins (Jade) walking towards the office, (low angle) before cutting to Lucy Martins (Jade) within in the office. You will see her open the door (low angle), see her walking (low angle) and sitting at her desk (mid short).
Extras (assistant) Bayo– “Moring, here’s your case, and may I introduce you to you
partner Tara Jones” - (high angle).
Lucy Martins (Jade) – “I work alone” - (a jump cut every time I say each word,
starting with a mid short, close-up and
extreme close up)
End of scene one
Fast editing of Lucy Martins (Jade) Discovering the case with shots of:
- the images of the case and the killing - (these will be still images of the
case and me looking over the shoulder at her).
- a sequence of shots of someone being chased, someone being killed and Jade
at the murder scene. A shot of Lucy Martins (Jade) identifying the number 2
on the victims neck - (this will be a sequence of point of view shots both
from the detective and the killers point of view)
- a large white board with information about the case - (point of view shot
and a jump cut)
- a newspaper article about the killing – “On going murder continues - (point
of view shot and every word is a different shot and will be put together to
form a sequence)
- a quick flashback of the first murder and the number 3 on that victims neck - (the shot will be a extreme close up of the victims neck but will
also contain the effect of blurred motion once edited to identify a flash
back)
- a shot of Tara Jones (Avneet) following Lucy Martins (Jade) – (a point of
view shot from Tara’s point of view and a close-up of Tara’s face)
Whilst the sequences of shots take place, there will be a voiceover of Jade explaining her detective qualities.
Lucy Martins (Jade) – “I’m a trained detective who has sussed out numerous cases.
I’m well skilled and work alone.
dont need or want any
help, times ticking”.
(As I say time is ticking we will included a ticking time bomb which we will included whilst editing that will count down over the trailer)
End of the sequence of shots – all shots will be edited at a fast pace
Lucy Martins (Jade) walks to her car whilst being at the office when Tara Jones (Avneet) approaches.
Tara Jones (Avneet) – “Drop the case” - (close-up)
Lucy Martins (Jade) – “No way” – (close- up)
Tara Jones (Avneet) – “The killers behind” – (close-up)
Lucy Martins (Jade) – “I know” – (close-up followed by a wide angle shot to show
the killers as well as the detectives)
There will be a variety of killers (villains), surrounding Jade and Avneet, before they both turn around and shoot at them. They manage to kill two individuals, but the other two get away. Therefore this scene will consist of another sequence of action packed, fast pace motion of the two detectives (Jade and Avneet), chasing after the two killers. (We will use a range of shots and a variety of angles to capture the action).
The last shot will be of both the detectives back to back pointing their guns at the killers. The camera will track 360 degrees around the detectives before they both shot and the screen will go black. This will lead to the film title and credits, before the shot re-appears of a woman on the telephone.
Killer (Nita) - “The case isn’t over yet!”- (an extreme close-up of just her lips
and part of the telephone)
